Format
Just like in the past, MacDeployment 2021 was a single track conference. It was a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions, but speakers who pre-recorded their session were available for live Q&A.
Sessions were delivered via Zoom Webinar. Opportunities to socialize online were offered using Kumospace (a platform discussed during Adam & Nathan’s session), including in the middle of the longer blocks (just like we do when meeting in-person).
Themes
There were three thematic threads running through the 2021 conference:
- Things we learned from (and learn as we exit) the pandemic,
- Deploying Apple Silicon Mac computers, and
- MDM (the logical follow-up from our focus in 2019).
